Job summary

Standard Control Systems in Ireland seeks a Project Engineer to design and configure intelligent Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) for complex M&E HVAC installations. You will develop control narratives, sequences of operation, and front-end GUIs for end users.

You will collaborate with design managers, coordinate RFIs, and lead commissioning, testing, and documentation across Nordic and Irish projects, with travel in Ireland and occasionally continental Europe.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues methodically.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and engage with clients/end users.

Responsibilities

Design and configure BEMS, including control narratives and sequences of operation.
Program BEMS controllers and devices for coordinated operation across building systems.
Develop intuitive GUIs for end users to monitor and interact with BEMS.
Produce technical documentation for interfacing with third-party systems.
Prepare testing documentation for SFATs and SATs and support testing activities.
Maintain design records and support continuous improvement of standard tools.
