Salthill Hotel is seeking a motivated Bartender to join our team in Co. Galway, Ireland. Reporting to the Bar Manager, you will provide friendly and efficient service to hotel guests.

You will prepare drinks, keep garnish stations stocked, maintain bar cleanliness and sanitation, and upsell beverages. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a similar role and a can-do, team-oriented attitude.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Be enthusiastic, customer focused & have the ability to work under pressure.
• Extensive knowledge of beers, cocktails, coffees and the ability to upsell.
• A “can do” attitude and the ability to work on own initiative.
• Outgoing and friendly personality with excellent communication skills.
• Available to work evenings, weekends & holiday periods.

Responsabilidades

• Meeting and exceeding guests’ expectations regarding cocktails and beverages.
• Preparation of all drink garnishes and keeping garnish station stocked.
• Keeping the bar area clean and organized, maintaining sanitation standards.
• Co-operation and good communication with colleagues to maintain team morale.
• Crafting original beverage menu items and designing new cocktails.
• Ensuring accurate, knowledgeable service of cocktails and beverages to all guests.
• Assisting with bar deliveries and maintaining stores as well as the bar back yard and bin areas.
• Attend training as deemed necessary by management.
• Ensure bar is prepared for set up in advance of each shift and that cleaning schedules are adhered to.
• Close out and balance shifts and guest billing.
