Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a bartender to join our team. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy to develop essential skills and meet experienced colleagues who can help you grow.

Dalata promotes from within, offering future opportunities for committed staff in a friendly team environment. The role focuses on delivering excellent guest service, maintaining product knowledge for food, beverages and wine, and actively upselling to maximise revenue.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a busy food and beverage operation
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros Experience would be preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food, all beverages and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
