Job summary

The Pantry Dundalk Cafe in Marshes Shopping Centre is seeking a Barista/Floor Staff member to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will craft a variety of coffees, teas, and other beverages, take orders and process payments while keeping the cafe welcoming and well-organised.

You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting with on-the-job training to refine your barista skills and support smooth daily operations. A friendly team environment and opportunities to grow are offered.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in coffee and the hospitality industry.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
• Comfortable handling cash and using a till system.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and early mornings.
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
• Previous Barista or cafe experience (desirable).
• Basic food hygiene awareness; HACCP training is an advantage.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the heart of our front-of-house operations, responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffees, teas, and other beverages to a consistently high standard. Your duties will extend beyond the coffee machine to include taking customer orders, handling payments, and ensuring the cafe floor remains clean, organised, and well-stocked.
