Job summary

Compass Group Ireland is seeking a Barista to craft beverages and deliver first-class service in a busy setting. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with 37.5 hours per week and opportunities for progression within a company invested in its people.

You will be responsible for drinks preparation, cash handling, maintaining a clean bar area and delivering excellent customer service while upholding food hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships.
• Have previous experience in customer service.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Compass Group Ireland and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
