Job summary

Gallen's Bar in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to lead a busy bar team and deliver warm, efficient service. You will oversee shifts, supervise staff, manage stock and cellar work, and ensure cash handling and end-of-night procedures are followed.

You'll promote licensing compliance, responsible serving and health & safety standards while handling customer queries calmly. Availability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays is preferred, with opportunities

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' bar experience.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Confident, reliable and good with people.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the bar during shifts, ensuring warm welcome and fast, friendly service.
• Supervise bar staff, including rotas, training and shift briefings.
• Serve customers and lead by example on busy nights.
• Manage stock, deliveries, cellar work and ordering.
• Cash handling, till reconciliation and end-of-night procedures.
• Ensure licensing laws, responsible serving, and health and safety standards followed.
• Handle customer queries calmly.
