Job description

The Metropole Hotel is looking for a talented, passionate and dynamic candidate to join our team as a Bar Supervisor. This role will support the Operations Manager to deliver a consistently high standard of guest service and bar operations.

Main responsibilities

• To ensure the team provide exceptional levels of food & beverage service for every guest
• To ensure that the bar is ready for guests by checking overall condition regularly
• To ensure all bar staff are trained in bar and health and safety SOP’s for the department
• To ensure that stocks are managed carefully
• To have a good understanding and working relationship with all areas within the company group
• To communicate and work effectively with management

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience in a supervisory role in a similar sized property
• Extensive food and beverage experience
• Excellent leadership skills
• Passionate about what you do and delivering the highest levels of service
• Love to be part of and lead by example a great team by developing and supporting your teammates
