Job summary

Jackson's Hotel in Ballybofey is seeking a dedicated Bar Manager to lead multiple bar outlets within the hotel, overseeing day-to-day operations, stock control and a large team to ensure optimal guest experiences.

You will report to the Group Bar Manager and play a key role in delivering exceptional service across weddings, conferences, and events, while driving profitability and maintaining licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bar Manager or Senior Bar Supervisor in a high-volume hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience managing large teams and multiple service areas.
• Excellent knowledge of stock control and bar operations.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, customer-focused environment.
• A hands-on approach with a passion for hospitality and team development.

Lead Multiple Bars in One of Donegal's Busiest Hospitality Destinations

Jackson's Hotel is seeking an experienced, organised and ambitious Bar Manager to join our management team and oversee the day-to-day operation of our busy bar outlets.

As one of the Northwest's leading hospitality destinations, Jackson's Hotel caters for weddings, conferences, events, leisure guests and local trade, creating a vibrant and fast-paced environment throughout the year. This role offers the opportunity to manage multiple bar operations while working alongside an experienced senior management team.

About the role

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the organisation, coordination and smooth operation of all bar outlets within the hotel. You will lead and develop a large team, ensure exceptional customer service standards, manage stock and staffing requirements, and contribute to the continued success of our food and beverage operation.

The Bar Manager will report directly to the Group Bar Manager, who will provide ongoing support and guidance on operational matters, offering an excellent opportunity for professional development and career progression within the group.
