Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a retail or bakery setting.
• No formal qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Check all products, remove out of date stock and record wastage.
• Clean all baskets inserts and confectionary units.
• Take Cake Orders and bake confectionary cakes and other cakes as required.
• Merchandise all chill cakes, cuisine range and CDF pastry stand.
• Ensure each item has an SEL and items on promotion have promotional POS.
• Review sales and batch control sheets.
• Prepare and tray up for next bake as per baking plan.
• Clean and tidy main freezer, Bakery Stockroom and rotate stock.
• Check all stock and replenish.
• Tray up products for next day’s trade.
• Complete production sheet for the current day.
