Job summary

SuperValu in Ireland is seeking a Bakery Assistant to ensure the Bakery Department operates efficiently and provides customers with high-quality products and service.

The ideal candidate will bring customer service experience, a team player attitude, and a passion for food. You will bake, prepare and display bakery products, handle customer queries, and actively promote brand values throughout the shift.

• Prepare customers bakery orders.
• Bake, prepare and display the Bakery Products sold throughout the day.
• Ensure that counter displays across all fresh food departments are to the highest standards at all times throughout the day.
• Demonstrate your passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with customers.
• Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy.
