Job summary

Amach is seeking a QA automation engineer in Dublin to develop and maintain automated tests for backend systems using Selenium.

You will build and run Selenium-based test suites, validate APIs and backend workflows, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with developers, QA engineers and product teams.

This hybrid role requires three days per week at our North Dublin office, offering flexible working arrangements and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Selenium-based test automation.
• Experience with backend testing and API validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test design patterns.
• Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend applications and services.
• Build and execute Selenium-based automated test suites.
• Validate backend functionality, APIs, integrations and system workflows.
• Identify, document and track defects found during automated testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers and product teams to improve test coverage and quality standards.
• Maintain reusable automation frameworks and testing utilities.
• Analyse test results and report on system quality and regression status.
