You will partner across backbone, edge, data center, and hardware teams to drive innovation and scale. You will define the technical roadmap, manage performance, and recruit top engineers while advancing careers and aligning with company AI

Qualifications

• Experience leading a networking-related software engineering team.
• Strong knowledge of networking and distributed systems.
• Experience with large-scale network management systems.
• Proven ability to recruit and manage technical teams and perform appraisals.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and capacity planning.
• Demonstrated AI skill development and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Be a highly technical manager and SME in networking and software.
• Define and drive the technical roadmap for Backbone/Edge networks.
• Lead engineers to design, build, deploy, and support Express Backbone network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with backbone, edge, data center, and hardware teams.
• Develop the team, assign projects, and plan long-term skill growth.
• Conduct performance reviews and recognize top performers.
• Partner with recruiters to grow the team and participate in conferences.
