Job summary

RELX INC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, operate and continuously improve secure, highly available Azure platforms for large-scale production environments. You will lead reliability initiatives, develop automation, and partner with engineering, security, architecture and product teams to enhance resilience and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering or cloud platforms.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes.
• Advanced Terraform skills to design reusable IaC components.
• Strong Git/GitOps with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell, Go or Bash.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, tracing and alerting.
• Incident management, root cause analysis and capacity planning.
• Azure, Kubernetes or Terraform certifications welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate and improve secure, highly available Azure platforms for large-scale production environments.
• Lead reliability initiatives and develop reusable automation.
• Partner with engineering, security, architecture and product teams to improve resilience.
• Maintain IaC with Terraform and build platform components.
• Manage AKS clusters, security standards, GitOps practices and upgrades.
• Develop monitoring, logging, alerting and distributed tracing strategies.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Mentor SRE engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
