Job summary

MCS Group Ireland is partnering with a scaleup technology business in Dublin to hire a Senior Platform Engineer. You will help build a secure, scalable Azure platform and shape the cloud foundations to support rapid growth in a regulated environment.

You'll work closely with engineering and product teams to implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, and robust observability. This hands-on role offers significant impact on platform direction.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Platform/DevOps/Infrastructure Engineering.
Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
Experience in regulated environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Build and evolve Azure cloud infrastructure.
Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Design and improve CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
Automate deployment and platform processes.
Work across containers, networking, APIs, and event-driven architecture.
Build monitoring, logging and observability across the platform.
Improve platform performance, resilience and availability.
Strengthen cloud security, identity and access controls.
Support multi-tenant cloud environments.
Monitor and optimise Azure performance and cost.
Create dashboards, alerts and runbooks.
Collaborate with Software Engineering, QA and Product teams as the platform scales.
