Job summary

Northern Trust Ireland is seeking an Azure Automation Engineer to deliver AI-enabled engineering solutions within the Security Operations environment. You will support Azure security engineering and cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability and governance.

You will build AI agents, automate cloud deployments, and drive DevSecOps transformations using Terraform, ARM Templates, Git, Ansible, and Docker, mentoring others in best practices and Azure design.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure cloud infra design and management.
• Experience with architecting, designing and building AI Agents.
• Expertise in Azure Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, and Monitoring.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates.
• Proven experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based infrastructure deployments.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Hands on experience and implementing scalable log ingestion and data pipeline solutions, including migration and onboarding of complex , different data sources across security platform.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and management of infrastructure.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in Azure best practices, IaC, and cloud architecture design.
• Design and implement robust security practices and policies in line with Azure’s security standards (e.g., Azure Security Center, Key Vault, etc.).

Responsibilities

Experience & Qualifications
