Job summary

State Street is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with 6+ years of patch management experience across production systems. You will develop patching procedures, define metrics, and coordinate with IT security and vendors to meet compliance requirements.

The role requires hands-on work with Oracle 12c/11g, Fusion Middleware WebLogic, Oracle SSO, OID, OAM, and OHS patching, as well as cloud tech (AWS, Azure, Oracle). You’ll collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of Production Support of several different business applications.
• 2+ years of experience in application security focusing on Vulnerability Patch Management.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 12c and 11g Fusion Middleware WebLogic Server, Oracle SSO, OID, OAM, OHS patching & upgrade.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patch management procedures and standards to ensure security and integrity of applications.
• Define and maintain patch management metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize patches based on risk and compliance requirements.
• Establish change management processes to deploy patches across development, testing, and production.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of patch management practices.
• Collaborate with security teams to incorporate threat intelligence and risk analysis into patching strategies.
• Coordinate with IT security, network operations, software development, and sysadmins to gather vulnerability data.
• Analyse vulnerability data to determine severity, impact, and risk to assets.
