Job summary

EY in Ireland is seeking a Tax Manager to lead complex corporate tax compliance and advisory work for aviation finance clients. You will handle cross-border transactions, transfer tax issues and Pillar 2 considerations while collaborating with EY teams across multiple locations.

You will mentor junior staff, develop tax risk management frameworks, and drive delivery of high-value tax services leveraging analytics and automation. A Big 4 background is preferred and there is a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• ACA (or equivalent) or law/Tax qualification.
• AITI or equivalent qualification in a Commonwealth country.
• 2-3 years post-qualification tax experience.
• Experience in industry or practice as a tax professional.
• Strong technical skills and willingness to develop further.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex corporate tax compliance and advisory projects for aviation finance clients.
• Manage cross-border tax implications and transfer tax issues.
• Work with EY aviation finance professionals to support clients on cross-border matters.
• Oversee preparation and review of corporate tax returns and liaise with authorities.
• Develop tax risk management strategies and documentation protocols.
• Advise on tax technology and automation solutions to streamline compliance.
• Mentor junior staff across multiple locations (Dublin, Cork, Galway).
