Job summary

AECOM is currently recruiting a Programme Controls Lead: Aviation to join our Dublin office. You will oversee cost management, scheduling, risk management and reporting across a multi-project programme, directing a skilled controls team and interfacing with design consultants and contractors.

The role offers hybrid work options and requires extensive experience in project controls within aviation or similar infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of project financial and cost management systems.
• Knowledge of risk management systems and development of corporate and project risk strategies.
• Significant experience of leading, managing and organising teams within an operational service delivery area.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness including monitoring and co-ordination of budget.
• Experience in programme scheduling and resource integration.
• Excellent project management skills with the capability to provide the motivation to ensure that targets are met, and timelines achieved.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage deliverables within tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide best practice Project Controls expertise and service across the programme including cost management, scheduling, reporting and risk management.
• Facilitate programme controls meetings to align on expectations and drive consistency.
• Monitor and report on all projects within the programme and relay information to the programme director.
• Recruit and mentor a high-performing team of Project Controls professionals.
• Coordinate reporting with programme controls office in central functions.
• Implement relevant business systems and processes to enhance programme performance.
• Work with Head of Programme Controls to implement new key process changes.
