Job summary

VSE in Shannon, Ireland, seeks an Engine Mechanic I to perform powerplant and engine maintenance per approved data and company procedures within an EASA Part 145 environment. You will assist with disassembly, inspection, repair and reassembly of engine components, ensuring safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Applicants should have a minimum of secondary education and at least 4 years of relevant technical experience or approved trade training.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent required.
• 4 years of relevant technical experience or recognised technical trade training.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals.
• Experience in a regulated aviation environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks on aircraft engines per approved data and procedures.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble engine parts and assemblies.
• Interpret engine manuals, service bulletins and airworthiness directives.
• Accurately complete work cards and technical records.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
