VSE in Ireland seeks an Engine Mechanic II to maintain, repair, and inspect aircraft engines in accordance with approved data and company procedures. The role involves disassembly, inspection, and reassembly, plus execution of independent inspections under EASA Part 145 standards.

Competenze

• Second level education or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in aircraft engine maintenance or similar work.
• Combination of relevant technical training and practical engine maintenance experience as described (e.g., 3 years with no formal training, 2 years with QQI/Part-147, or 1 year with Part-147 basic training).
• Experience in an EASA Part 145 approved organisation.
• Ability to interpret approved maintenance data and perform tasks independently to required standards.
• Eligibility for Independent Inspection authorisation under company procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.

Mansioni

• Perform maintenance tasks on aircraft engines per approved maintenance data, OEM manuals and procedures.
• Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair and reassembly of engine parts.
• Carry out engine preservation activities and borescope inspections (BSI) as authorised.
• Conduct pre-assembly checks to verify component condition and documentation.
• Carry out independent inspections and use certification stamps where applicable.
• Support engine ground runs as authorised and interpret engine manuals and directives.
• Complete work cards and technical records accurately; ensure proper use of tooling and equipment.
