Job summary

Sanmina Fermoy in Ireland seeks a Process Technician to oversee a fully automated production line for Class III medical devices. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, machine performance, and ongoing process improvement on shift-based days and nights, including weekends.

You will work under the Production Team Leader, supporting quality, safety and regulatory compliance while helping to drive efficiency and yield in a high-volume production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 6 qualification in electrical, mechanical, fitter, or related trade discipline.
• 12 months experience in automation control, tool-making, maintenance, electrical or mechanical fitter roles preferred.
• Hands-on problem solving and ability to support machine failures and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the planned production output for a Class III medical device on a fully automated line.
• Maintain machine performance and up-time.
• Support safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement targets.
• Assist with commissioning and validation of new equipment for high-volume production lines.
