Job summary

Douglas Control and Automation in Cork, Ireland, seeks a Secondment Recruiter to lead an established automation engineering recruitment desk. You will source, attract and hire automation engineers to support the company’s Secondment Division.

You will manage the full recruitment cycle, cultivate relationships with pharmaceutical, FMCG and manufacturing clients, and expand the desk through proactive opportunities while maintaining accurate CRM records.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in 360 recruitment, preferably within technical or engineering sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Own a warm, established automation engineering recruitment desk with existing clients and opportunities.
• Manage full 360 recruitment cycle from business development to placement.
• Grow client relationships across pharmaceutical, FMCG and manufacturing sectors.
• Identify new business opportunities within an established client base, leveraging warm relationships.
• Source and engage automation engineers, PLC programmers, controls engineers and project managers.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates in a specialised engineering market.
• Manage client requirements, shortlists, interviews, offers and salary negotiations.
• Expand existing accounts and drive recruitment revenue through repeat business.
• Keep CRM records up to date and monitor activity and pipelines.
• Aim for revenue, placement and business development targets.
• Deliver high-quality service to clients and candidates, building long-term partnerships.
