Job summary

PRACYVA seeks an experienced automation professional to support development in a scientific/technology field. The role focuses on assisting with automation for modernized and legacy systems, and on planning, design, scheduling, and control of automation projects to back new product development.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, interprets engineering drawings, and understands FDA/ISO quality systems within regulated environments.

Qualifications

  • Honours degree in mechanical/electronic/mechatronic or automation engineering required.
  • Experience in delivering automation projects in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Build and assess automation equipment and control systems for reliability.
  • Gather automation project requirements for resources and maintenance.
  • Coordinate regulatory assessments for improvements and conformance.
  • Contribute to automation deliverables and meet deadlines.
  • Analyze scope changes and provide information for time/cost impact.
  • Communicate project progress with engineers and stakeholders.
  • Apply leadership imperatives in daily team interactions.

Job description

Open for FTC-1 year duration to begin with & extendable

Open for Contract as well: 6 months to begin with

Years of exp: Min 3 to 5 years relevant

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Entry to developing individual contributor in a scientific/technology field. Assists with Automation for modernized and legacy systems, infrastructure, and services. Conducts the planning, design, scheduling and control of Automation projects to support new product development. Contributes to key performance indicator achievements and supports company initiatives.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Builds equipment and control systems and helps determine reliability and need for updates.
  • Compiles automation project requirements in support of project resource management and maintenance.
  • Coordinates assessments in support of determining regulatory compliance and any necessary improvements for regulation conformity.
  • Contributes to automation deliverables and ensures adherence to expected deadlines.
  • Analyzes basic changes in scope, including provision of necessary information to support claims for time and cost impact.
  • Communicates internally with engineers regarding workflow and project deliverables.
  • Understands and applies Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
ESSENTIAL:
  • Hons Degree in a Mechanical, Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or Automation discipline.
  • Experience in delivery of automation projects.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems (FDA/ISO) within a regulated environment.
DESIRABLE:
  • Commissioning and validation experience
  • Experience in a process engineering role
