The role of the Automation Engineer focus on designing, integrating, and maintaining automated assembly systems for the engineering environment. The successful candidate will have hands‑on experience with automation technologies and a strong desire to grow with the company.

They will be well-versed in all automation & maintenance processes as well as health and safety regulations.

This role requires the correct candidate to have extensive experience in an Automation role with a vast amount of technical knowledge.

Key Roles:

• Design, integrate, and maintain automated assembly systems for components (including springs and magnets).
• Collaborate with tooling and molding teams to ensure seamless automation integration.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation‑related issues to minimize downtime.
• Manage vendor relationships for automation equipment sourcing and FAT/SAT processes.
• Support validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ for automated systems.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in automation engineering within manufacturing or assembly environments.
• Hands‑on experience with PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and basic robotics.
• Familiarity with vision systems and mechanical assembly automation.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and component assembly.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
