Auxilia Group Recruitment is seeking a Design Engineer for an established engineering company in Dublin. You will design automation systems, develop BOMs, prepare fabrication drawings and 3D models, and support installations on site.

You will work with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure buildability and safety, liaise with clients, and contribute to project documentation and quality control throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering required.
• Hands-on CAD experience in project environments essential.
• Proven track record designing automation equipment (conveyors, pneumatics, or machinery).
• Valid driving licence and right to work in Ireland/Europed.

Responsabilités

• Design automation systems using CAD or similar design tools.
• Develop comprehensive BOMs for procurement and assembly.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, 3D models, and concept sketches.
• Conduct site visits to assess client needs, oversee installations, and validate specifications.
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements and guide technical discussions.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure buildability and safety.
• Support documentation, revisions and quality-control throughout project lifecycle.
