Job summary

Dara Community Living is recruiting a Social Care Worker/Support Worker for a 1-year fixed term contract in Swords, Co. Dublin. The role focuses on helping two young men with autism develop life skills, independence, and community connections.

The successful candidate will work with a collaborative team, support daily living, manage routines, and participate in home and community activities, including sleepovers and shift work as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in the social care/intellectual disability sector.
• Experience of supporting people with autism.
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
• Full, clean driver's license.
• Available to work residential hours including shift work/sleepovers and weekends.
• Hold a relevant qualification in health / social care.

Responsibilities

• Support the individuals in daily living at home and in the community.
• Assist in promoting independence and social engagement.
• Drive company vehicles (full Driver's Licence Essential).
• Work as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
