Job summary

GPC Finance in Dublin is seeking an Audit Senior to join our established practice. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with at least 2 years’ experience in Irish practice and a track record in delivering audits for a varied client base.

You will plan and execute audit engagements, review work of junior staff, and liaise directly with clients to provide practical, value-added advice while upholding professional standards. Hybrid working and on-site parking are available.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a practice-based audit role.
• Strong knowledge of audit and accounting standards.
• Experience with CaseWare is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering audits for a varied portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
• Planning and completing audit engagements in line with professional standards.
• Guiding and reviewing the work of junior team members, helping them develop their skills.
• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide practical, value-added advice.

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA-qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a practice-based audit role.
• Strong technical understanding of audit and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Experience with CaseWare or similar audit software (advantageous but not essential).
