Job summary

Reach International partners with a Global Accountancy firm to appoint an Audit Assistant Manager for their Dublin, Ireland office. The role involves planning, executing and completing audits, supervising staff and acting as the main client contact while onsite, and mentoring assistants to support career objectives.

The candidate should be fully qualified (ICAI/ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent) with at least 3 years of external audit experience, and must have financial services audit exposure,

Qualifications

• At least 3 years External Audit experience from a global accountancy firm.
• Financial services audit experience is essential; funds/asset management audits desirable.

Responsibilities

The Company

Reach International is working with this Global Accountancy firm to appoint Audit Assistant Managers to their Dublin, Ireland office.

The Role

• Responsible for the planning, execution and completion of audits
• Responsible for supervising staff on assignment and acting as the main point of client contact whilst onsite
• Supervise multiple concurrent engagements with professional staff and direct the preparation and completion of reports, accounts and financial statements
• Advise a client portfolio predominantly within the Financial Services sector (Funds/Asset Management)
• Ensure assignments are run within budget, time and resource requirements
• Mentor assistants by counselling and assisting them in the management of all aspects of their work lives and in obtaining their career objectives

The Candidate

• Must be fully qualified (ICAI/ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent) or about to become qualified
• At least 3 years External Audit experience from a global accountancy firm
• Financial services audit experience is essential, experience in the audits of funds / asset management is desirable
