O'Neill Foley, Kilkenny-based and Ireland's leading independent accountancy and advisory firm, seeks an Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager to join our growing practice. You will oversee a varied portfolio of audit and accounts work, supervise junior staff, and build direct client relationships, reporting to the Audit and Accounts Manager with regular partner access.
This development role offers progression in a culture that combines technical excellence with a supportive, collaborative team
O'Neill Foley is one of Ireland's leading independent accountancy and advisory firms. From our base in Kilkenny we have advised family businesses, owner-managed companies and professional practices across Ireland for more than sixty years. Many of the businesses we act for today are run by the children, and in some cases the grandchildren, of the founders we first met.
We continue to grow steadily across audit, accounts, tax, corporate finance and wealth management. That growth is built on a strong client base, a reputation for technical quality, and a culture that takes the work seriously and itself a little less so.
We are looking for an Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager to join the firm at a time of sustained client growth. The role offers a clear next step for someone who has built a strong technical foundation in practice and is ready to take on greater client responsibility and a leadership role within the team.
You will work across a varied portfolio of audit and accounts assignments, supervise more junior team members on engagements, and build direct relationships with clients. You will report to the Audit and Accounts Manager and have regular partner access throughout.
This is a development role within a firm that values progression and supports the people in it to grow.
You will be a capable practice professional looking for the next step. You will bring strong technical foundations, an appetite for client work, and the curiosity to keep learning. You will be ready to take on supervisory responsibility for the first time, or to deepen the supervisory role you already have. You will value being part of a team and contributing to it.
