Waterjobsuk seeks an Associate Director for Sustainable Infrastructure in Ireland (Cork, Carlow or Dublin). You will lead multidisciplinary teams across major infrastructure projects, from feasibility through delivery, while developing client relationships and guiding project strategy.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, Chartered Engineer status, and 15+ years of post-graduate experience, with strong leadership and commercial acumen for complex transport and energy schemes.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status.
• Minimum 15 years' post-graduate experience in infrastructure design and project management, including delivery of projects in Ireland.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams.
• Experience managing client relationships, external stakeholders and subconsultants.
• Strong budget management and commercial awareness.
• Excellent knowledge of infrastructure project delivery and engineering consultancy processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering design teams, ensuring projects are delivered to agreed programmes, budgets and quality standards.
• Manage a portfolio of infrastructure projects, maintaining strong client relationships and overseeing project communications.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers, senior engineers and junior technical staff.
• Plan and coordinate design activities alongside engineering discipline leads and technicians.
• Oversee project delivery from feasibility and planning through detailed design, procurement and construction.
• Prepare and review technical reports, tender documentation and project deliverables.
• Coordinate engineering inputs across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage project resources, budgets, financial performance and commercial requirements.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and relevant health and safety legislation.
• Attend site visits and client meetings as required.
