Waterjobsuk in Cork, Dublin or Carlow, Ireland seeks an Associate Director for Civil & Environmental Engineering. You will lead multidisciplinary teams on circular economy and environmental projects, driving design delivery, business growth and client relations.

The role targets Chartered Engineers with 15+ years' experience, offering exposure to major facilities and a clear path toward director-level progression. Travel to sites and client meetings will be required.

Formación

• Level 8 or Level 9 qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in engineering design and project leadership.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management including client and subconsultant coordination.
• Business development and client relationship management experience.
• Experience managing project budgets, financial performance and delivery.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable and commercially aware approach.
• Willingness to undertake site visits and attend client meetings.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Desirable: Experience presenting at Oral Hearings.

Responsabilidades

• Lead civil and environmental design teams to deliver projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Manage multidisciplinary design programmes and coordinate technical deliverables.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and secure new projects.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and professional development.
• Prepare and review technical reports, engineering documentation and tenders.
• Work with project owners and stakeholders to plan and manage design workflows.
• Oversee budgets, financial performance, resource allocation and commercial delivery.
• Maintain QA standards and health and safety compliance.
• Attend client meetings, project sites and stakeholder engagements as required.
• Support growth and strategic development of environmental and circular economy services.
