Job summary

A leading global aircraft leasing platform is hiring an Associate Counsel to join their in-house Legal team in Dublin.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you'll be a key part of the team, working on negotiations across sales, leasing and financing of aviation assets and coordinating with outside counsel across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Circa 4+ years' relevant experience (aviation asset finance or leasing preferred).
• Experience dealing with sales, leasing, and financing documentation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage documentation across sales, leasing and financing of aviation assets, from LOI to definitive documents.
• Support deal teams on sales, trading, technical and financing activity.
• Advise on contract compliance, lease defaults, restructurings, repossessions and related litigation/bankruptcy matters.
• Negotiate lease and asset management documentation, including redelivery and technical agreements.
• Coordinate outside counsel across multiple jurisdictions to manage cost and efficiency.

• Coordinating outside counsel across multiple jurisdictions to manage cost and efficiency

What we're looking for:

• Qualified to practice law in Ireland, England & Wales, or the US
• Circa 4+ years' relevant experience, ideally with exposure to aviation, asset finance or leasing
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to manage complex, fast-moving deals independently
• First class written and oral communication skills
• Additional languages a plus
