Job summary

S&W is an accountancy firm providing expert advice across tax, accountancy, assurance, advisory, corporate finance and restructuring. The Dublin office seeks an Associate to join the Assurance and Business Services Team, supporting client finance teams with audit and accounting work.

You will work as part of a team, develop knowledge of clients and their portfolios, support on major transactions and restructuring, and help ensure compliance with reporting obligations.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy environment.
• A third level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, Business, or related discipline.
• Strong academic record with a minimum 2:2 honours degree.
• Pursuing ACCA or CAI qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a variety of audit and accountancy tasks as part of a team.
• Develop understanding of S&W’s clients and their business portfolios.
• Keep senior stakeholders informed of project updates.
• Become familiar with S&W’s audit and accountancy software.
• Resolve audit and accountancy queries.
• Prioritise tasks and monitor time against budget.
