Job summary

S&W is an accountancy firm providing expert advice across tax, accountancy, assurance, advisory, corporate finance, and restructuring. The firm serves clients across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and internationally, with the Dublin office seeking an Associate in Assurance and Business Services.

The role involves supporting client finance teams with audit and assurance requirements at growth stages, including major transactions and restructurings, in a 35-hour workweek, Monday to Friday,

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy environment.
• A third level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong academic record with a minimum 2:2 honours degree.
• Pursuing the ACCA or CAI qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team to undertake a variety of audit and accountancy tasks.
• Developing an understanding of S&W’s clients and their business portfolios.
• Keeping senior stakeholders informed of project updates.
• Becoming familiar with S&W’s audit and accounting software.
• Resolving audit and accountancy queries.
• Prioritising tasks and monitoring time against budget.
