Job summary

S&W is an accountancy firm providing expert advice across tax, accountancy, assurance, advisory, corporate finance and restructuring. The Dublin office seeks an Associate to join the Assurance and Business Services Team, supporting client finance teams with audit and accounting work.

You will work as part of a team, develop knowledge of clients and their portfolios, support on major transactions and restructuring, and help ensure compliance with reporting obligations.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy environment.
• A third level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, Business, or related discipline.
• Strong academic record with a minimum 2:2 honours degree.
• Pursuing ACCA or CAI qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

S&W’s Assurance & Business Services Team provides wide-reaching Assurance & Business Services to a diverse client base ranging from small businesses and family enterprise start-ups to non‑profit organisations, across a range of industries, in the UK and internationally. The team assists clients with their financial, compliance and regulatory matters and ensures compliance with reporting obligations. S&W is seeking an Associate to join its Assurance and Business Services Team in the Dublin office. The Associate will be responsible for assisting client finance teams with their assurance and audit requirements at every stage of business growth, including major transactions and restructuring.

Accordingly, the Associate’s day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include:

• Working as part of a team to undertake a variety of audit and accountancy tasks.

Qualifications

To be eligible the individual must possess the following:

• Experience in an accountancy environment.
• A third level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, Business, or a related discipline.

• Pursuing the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
