Walkers is seeking an Associate for its Asset and Aviation Finance Group in Dublin. You will join a dynamic, growing team advising banks, aircraft owners and financiers on innovative cross-border transactions.

Ideal candidates have 1-4 years of PQE in asset and aviation finance or related fields, with strong drafting, analytical and communication skills, and eligibility for an Irish practising certificate.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work on a broad range of matters representing top tier clients located in Ireland as well as globally. You will work closely with our partners and associates in advising banks, financial institutions, lessors, aircraft owners, financial arrangers and private equity groups on the most innovative and complex multi-jurisdictional asset and aviation finance and leasing transactions in the market. Your work will be high quality, interesting and challenging.

Education, Skills & Experience

We are seeking qualified lawyers, 1-4 (PQE), ideally in asset and aviation finance in a recognised practice, however we would welcome interest from lawyers with general finance, banking and project finance background.

We are open to hearing from candidates currently practicing in Ireland, or those interested in returning or relocating to Ireland and eligible for an Irish practising certificate who have:

• excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills;
• strong transaction management capability;
• a high level of commercial and business awareness;

• ability to work independently and as part of a team;
