Job summary

Cpl Group is assisting in recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for a busy Co. Clare retail operation. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer engagement and smooth store operations while supporting commercial performance and team motivation.

You will participate in daily store activities, drive sales, train staff on new products, manage stock, and ensure compliance with industry standards. A hands-on leader with strong IT and communication skills is sought to help grow the business.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline.
• 3+ years’ retail experience.
• Proven ability to motivate staff.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with people at all levels.
• Strong understanding of IT, stock control & inventory management systems.
• Flexibility to work on a balanced & fair rota across varying shifts.

Assistant Store Manager - Co. Clare

Our client, a highly successful retail operation based in Co. Clare are now, due to a significant increase in business levels, looking to expand their operations management team & have engaged with us in Cpl to hire an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their energetic and enthusiastic team.

The Job

As a key part of the store management group, you will primarily be responsible for delivering exceptional standards across customer engagement & the retail operations as well as supporting commercial performance & motivating the store based team.

More specifically you will take an active part in the daily operations of the store, deliver a best in class customer experience, drive sales across various product lines, conduct training on new products & services being introduced, analyse performance, manage stock levels, assist on staff queries, ensure compliance with industry & regulatory standards (including H&S & HACCP) & support the Store Manager in their ongoing business planning.

Your Skills & Experience that we need

The Offer

The role is a permanent position with base salary depending on experience/qualifications but expected to range between 37-42k.

• There will be additional benefits & annual performance based bonus.
