Job summary

Cpl Group is assisting in recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for a busy Co. Clare retail operation. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer engagement and smooth store operations while supporting commercial performance and team motivation.

You will participate in daily store activities, drive sales, train staff on new products, manage stock, and ensure compliance with industry standards. A hands-on leader with strong IT and communication skills is sought to help grow the business.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline.
• 3+ years’ retail experience.
• Proven ability to motivate staff.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with people at all levels.
• Strong understanding of IT, stock control & inventory management systems.
• Flexibility to work on a balanced & fair rota across varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support store operations ensuring best in class customer experience.
• Drive sales across product lines and conduct staff training on new products and services.
• Analyse performance, manage stock levels and assist on staff queries.
• Support the Store Manager with business planning and compliance with H&S and HACCP.
