Responsibilities

• Ensure service reflects ambiance and standards set by leadership.
• Lead and coach the team, monitor performance of staff and supervisors.
• Maintain high staff morale and active floor communication.
• Handle F&B Manager on Duty responsibilities and be a point of contact for requests.
• Ensure SERVICE operates within LQA standards.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to meet or exceed guest expectations.
• Participate in service and maintain floor presence at peak times.
• conduct daily staffing, quality control, maintenance and cleanliness checks.
• Develop restaurant training programs for continuous growth.
• Train and coach new and existing team members.
• Work with Outlet Chef and F&B Manager on promotions, menus and events.
• Create ideas and promotions to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.

We currently recruiting a Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Team at Carton House.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensures the service consistently reflects the ambiance and service standards set by the leadership team.
• Lead the team by motivating, coaching and monitoring the performance levels of all team and supervisors members.
• Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times by maintaining high staff morale and team spirit through active on the floor communication.
• Manage assigned F&B Manager on Duty responsibilities including being a point of contact for all requests.
• Ensure SERVICE is operating within the standards of LQA.
• Work together with the culinary, restaurant managers and stewarding team to ensure that all food service meets or exceeds guest expectations.
• Participate in service as necessary and ensure floor presence at key times.
• Perform daily checks on staffing level, quality control, maintenance and cleanliness for the outlet.
• Develop training programs for the restaurant to ensure continuous growth.
• Participate in the training and coaching of new and existing team members within the outlet.
• Work in conjunction with the Outlet Chef, Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager on promotions, menus and special events.
• Create and innovate ideas and promotions to generate revenue and improve guest satisfaction for the outlet.

Key Requirements:

• Full flexibility - this is a full-time role, flexibility and shift work is required.
• A real understanding of hotel operation.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills with excellent spoken & written English.
• Outgoing, bubbly and confidence in dealing with a range of customers.
• Previous experience in a similar role in a 5 star resort.
• A structured and organized approach to work planning.
