Job summary

Gourmet Food Parlour invites applications for an Assistant Manager role at the new Ashtown venue. You will support the General Manager, helping to recruit, train, and lead a busy restaurant team, setting standards and a positive culture from opening onwards.

You will drive guest satisfaction, oversee shifts, and work closely with the kitchen. This is an exciting chance to shape a new venue and grow with the brand in a bustling Dublin location.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Assistant Manager or senior hospitality role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good commercial awareness of restaurant operations.
• Experience with training, coaching and supporting team development.
• Familiarity with HACCP, health & safety, cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with day-to-day restaurant operations and lead by example.
• Help prepare for the new opening, including recruitment, training and team development.
• Take responsibility for shifts in the General Manager's absence to maintain service standards.
• Lead customer service to deliver warm, friendly and efficient experiences.
• Collaborate with Head Chef to ensure smooth front and back of house operations.
• Assist with stock, cash handling, and adherence to company procedures.
