Peak Performance Recruitment are partnering with an established aircraft leasing business in Dublin to recruit an Assistant Manager – Finance. The role reports to the VP Finance and drives day-to-day accounting operations, lease accounting under IFRS 16 and financing activities.

Key responsibilities include managing ledger & month-end close, intercompany accounting, budgeting and statutory reporting, with a focus on automation and data visualisation improvements.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Experience within the aircraft leasing industry.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage general ledger, intercompany accounting and month-end close.
• Oversee aircraft lease accounting under IFRS 16 and expected credit losses under IFRS 9.
• Account for maintenance reserves, security deposits and end-of-lease compensation.
• Support aircraft acquisitions, financing, depreciation and disposals.
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations and audit schedules.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and data visualisation.

Peak Performance Recruitment are working with an established aircraft leasing business in Dublin to recruit an Assistant Manager – Finance.

Reporting to the VP Finance, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in the day-to-day accounting operations of aircraft leasing entities, covering lease accounting, financial reporting and aircraft financing activities.
