Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a qualified accountant to join its Aviation Advisory team in Dublin. The role requires 4-5 years of accounting/audit experience, strong communication, and the ability to work within a dynamic, client-facing environment.

You will contribute to financial reporting, data analysis, and liaison with clients, while developing in a leading advisory practice focused on aircraft leasing industry services.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified.
• 4-5 years experience.
• Audit experience from a top-ten firm would be advantageous.
• Ability to interpret financial statements.
• Experience of IFRS and Irish GAAP.
• Internal audit experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Growth mindset with problem solving ability.
• Experience working in a team and supporting others.
• Skilled in motivating and managing staff to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on financial report outputs (models, statements, analysis).
• Supervise and train junior team members to maintain standards.
• Analyse and identify root causes of data issues.
• Foster strong client relationships through regular communication.
• Develop knowledge of core aircraft leasing processes.
• Oversee trainees and seniors on client engagements.
• Support and manage projects and initiatives.
