Job summary

Centra Termonfeckin Co. Louth is seeking an Assistant Manager to ensure the store runs efficiently, deliver excellent customer service and maintain a fresh food offer in a clean, safe environment. You will drive sales and profitability through effective people and operations management.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in a supervisory role in food retail, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a proven ability to balance cash/tills while achieving KPIs in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a relevant position is desirable.
• Experience balancing cash/tills.
• Experience in grocery retail.

Main purpose of the role:

The Ideal Candidate Will Have/be

Main duties:

• Set, monitor and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and other KPIs as agreed with Store Manager
• Implement planograms correctly and ensure the correct range is in place in store
• Merchandise and present the store to the highest standard

• Ability to develop and promote good communication between employees and management in a safe, respectful and inclusive environment
• Support Store Manager in the development and training of the team and in ensuring the smooth running of the store
