Job summary

PureGym Ireland is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to lead a team of fitness professionals, deliver outstanding member experiences, and support the Gym Manager in daily operations. You will recruit and train Personal Trainers and Fitness Coaches, oversee group exercise offerings, drive member engagement, and foster a positive, high-performing work environment across the club.

This role requires a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, a passion for health and wellbeing, and a proactive approach

Qualifications

• Level 2 Gym Instructor Qualification required.
• Experience teaching group exercise is essential.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding member experience with a focus on service and standards, alongside the Gym Manager.
• Recruit, develop and supervise a team of fitness staff (Personal Trainers/Fitness Coaches/Gym Instructors).
• Oversee group exercise offerings and grow the GEX program within the club.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development for staff.
