Job summary

OpenText invites applications for an Assistant Financial Controller to join our European finance team in Cork. You will help ensure financial integrity across European entities and support US GAAP and local GAAP reporting.

In this role you will assist statutory audits, drive finance transformation initiatives, and support acquisitions and legal entity restructurings, collaborating with tax, legal and regional finance to deliver accurate, timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a technology environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP reporting requirements, including statutory reporting and audit support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze and manage large data sets.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Experience with SAP and NetSuite is advantageous, along with familiarity with European VAT requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CMA, ACCA) is an asset.
