Projects include onshore wind, solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), hydro, renewable heat and a variety of other associated evolving technologies.

While specific experience working in the renewables sector is not a pre-requisite it is a very desirable attribute for applicants to the role. Similarly experience of transmission connections, is of particular benefit.

Why Join Us?

  • Provide technical support to Project Manager / Owner’s Engineer to assist with project delivery.
  • Assist with the preparation of technical specifications and employer’s requirements for solar, BESS, turbine supply, electrical balance of plant and contestable grid connection work packages.
  • Review technical aspects of electrical infrastructure via documentation and on site to ensure that risks to operation, compliance and operational lifetime are identified and mitigated.
  • Attend site meetings and undertake site visits to inspect electrical works and prepare snagging lists.
  • Support grid code compliance testing processes.
  • Work with the Natural Power Advisory team to provide technical due diligence advisory services to renewable energy developers, asset owners and investors.
  • Keep abreast of grid connection and renewable energy policy and technology developments.
  • Assist with the management of designers and specialist subconsultants where required.
