Job summary

Lincoln Recruitment Specialists is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join a multinational finance team in Dublin on a permanent basis. You will support core general ledger, reporting, and tax activities while collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in accounting or finance in a multinational or structured environment.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA/ACA/CIMA study desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations and follow up on variances.
• Support profit & loss analysis and reporting for management.
• Assist with VAT, corporate tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Provide information and support for statutory and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams including tax, treasury, legal, and shared services.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
• Support other general accounting and reporting tasks as required.
