Job summary

Unknown manufacturer in Dundalk is recruiting experienced Assembly Fitters to join a vehicle production team on a 6 month contract to permanent basis. You will fit components on vehicle lines with focus on quality and finish.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a background in plant/agri/auto mechanics, with knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and a minimum of 1 year fitting experience. Driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or background in plant/agri/auto mechanics.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems is a strong advantage.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
• Full driving licence (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year fitting experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assemble vehicle components on production lines ensuring high-quality fit and finish.
• Work with hydraulic hoses, wiring harnesses, panels and bolt-on components.

Role Overview:
You will work on vehicle assembly lines, ensuring high-quality fit and finish across all components. This includes work with hydraulic hoses, wiring harnesses, steel and plastic panels, and various bolt-on components.
