QT Technologies Ireland Limited, Cork, Ireland, is seeking an ASIC Engineer to define, model, design, optimize, verify and document IP for high-performance SoCs. You will develop the memory subsystem, including coherency, NoC, and memory controller, while also modeling client IP such as modem, CPU, ML, graphics, display, and peripherals.

The role requires proficiency in C++, SystemC, and scripting languages, with knowledge of cache and memory-controller architectures, AXI/CHI protocols, and RTL

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of ASIC design/verification experience.
• Master's degree with 1+ year of ASIC design/verification experience.
• PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop the memory subsystem of Qualcomm SoCs and model the pathway to memory infrastructure.
• Model coherency protocols, NoC interconnect fabrics, system cache and memory controller.
• Model client IPs (modem, CPU, ML, graphics, display, camera, video and peripherals) and explore system cost, performance and power improvements.

As a Qualcomm ASIC Engineer, you will define, model, design (digital and/or analog), optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document IP (block/SoC) development for a variety of high performance, high quality, low power world class products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional groups to determine product execution path.

We are seeking engineers to develop the memory subsystem of the new generation of Qualcomm SoC's. You will be part of a team that models the pathway to memory infrastructure, including coherency protocols, NoC interconnect fabrics, system cache and memory controller.

Furthermore, you will also work on client IP modelling (modem, CPU, machine learning, graphics, display, camera, video and peripherals) and you will conduct exploration campaigns to identify opportunities for system cost, performance and power improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
