Job summary

Amgen Dun Laoghaire is seeking a Manufacturing Front Line Manager to lead a team of 20+ technicians in aseptic syringe/ vial production. You will ensure GMP adherence, safety, and on-time delivery while coaching staff across maintenance, quality, and planning functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
• Knowledge of GMP, EH&S.
• 5+ years’ experience in Syringe/Vial aseptic manufacturing operations.
• Previous experience in managing and leading teams.
• Understanding and use of RFT techniques and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Excellent people management skills, including performance management, coaching, mentoring, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Model Amgen’s values and leadership attributes while GMP-cleanroom activities meet quality standards.
• Manage a shift of Process Technicians to achieve production targets.
• Facilitate daily scheduling and team meetings to align activities with the manufacturing plan.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and product transfer of drug products to the new filling line.
• Drive problem-solving with cross-functional teams to minimize schedule disruptions.
